Job Title: Dentist

Minimum Qualifications:

Education:

• A degree from a school of dentistry. (DDS or DMD).

Certification, Licensure and/or Registration:

• Licensed to practice dentistry in the Mississippi. Dentist must provide a registration Number from DEA.

Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience as a Dental Provider..

Required Documentation

• Applicant must attach a copy of his/her permanent license, copy of his/her degree, and DEA registration to practice dentistry in the Mississippi..

Essential Functions:

• Assessing, diagnosing, Treating, and Managing dental issues..

• Providing routine examinations, dental cleaning, fillings, simple extractions, and dental x-rays..

• Make referrals as necessary for higher levels of dental care..

• Abiding by all the client's Policies and Procedures..

Performance Measures:

• Providing orders for routine and individualized care..

• Documenting the clinical status of the patient via admission assessments and routine progress notes..

• Communicating relevant clinical information to appropriate individuals..
