In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating dental issues, advocating for preventative care, and ensuring the overall oral health of your patients. Your expertise and patient-centered approach will be paramount in providing exceptional dental services and fostering a positive patient experience.


Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnostic tests to assess oral health.
  • Diagnose dental conditions and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Perform routine and complex dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and root canals.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with health regulations.
  • Collaborate with dental hygienists and support staff to ensure quality patient care.
  • Stay updated on advancements in dental technology and techniques.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school.
  • Current dental license to practice in the applicable state.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a clinical dental setting preferred.
  • Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and staff.
  • Ability to manage patient anxiety and provide compassionate care.
  • Commitment to continuing education and staying current with dental advancements.
