The City of Webster Groves is accepting applications for a full-time Deputy City Manager of Community Vitality. Under the direction of the City Manager, the Deputy City Manager of Community Vitality performs a variety of complex tasks overseeing various aspects of strategy, structure, systems, and people for the organization. This position will play a vital role in shaping and executing the Citys vision while addressing the diverse needs of the community. The Deputy City Manager of Community Vitality will strategically lead the Public Works and Planning and Development departments and will spearhead the Citys Economic Development initiatives.
Requirements:
Graduation from a four (4) year college with a degree in Public Administration or a closely related field.
Five (5) to seven (7) years of public or private sector-senior level management experience as a department director, Assistant City Manager, Deputy City Manager or City/County Manager of a comparably sized community or organization.
Or any combination of related education, experience, certifications, and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job.
Possession of a valid driver's license.
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting salary range is $110,635.20 annually (Depending on Qualifications), with excellent benefits.
