Deputy General Manager - International Business Development Apply
The main objective of the job is to find a suitable partner for In-Licensing of BSV’s key molecules in selected markets. To plan & manage launch projects & ensure completion of projects within time. To identify, analyze, project new licensing opportunities in Africa region that would add value to the company and fuel growth of the organization through alliances & business development.Main tasks: 1. Licensing (Out & In)2. Project Management3. Opportunity Identification and Evaluation4. Market Screening & Analysis5. Alliance Management 6. Business Case Key Responsibilities:1. Licensinga. Lead discussions and business case developments for Products with relevant cross functional teams. b. Negotiate Contract terms in consultation with Legal and business units, stakeholders alike. c. Liaison with Legal to finalize contract and produce execution copy. d. Organize Due Diligence of technical documentation in close co-ordination with cross functional teams.e. Roll out to Alliance Management / Project Management team for execution.f. Maintain accurate records of discussions and negotiations and prepare summaries and management reports as needed.2. Market Screening & Analysisa. Analysis of regional IQVIA data & reportsb. Based on analysis give recommendations& develop summary reports for the assigned projects3. Alliance Managementa. Work with cross functional team to identify key GAPs in the current dossiers of BSV and devise business models to fulfil the country specific requirements.4. Business Casea. Identify potential partners, negotiating terms, develop the Term Sheet outlining deal parameters and accountabilities and prepare Business Cases to facilitate decision making. Requisite for the role:10+ yrs of experience in Business Development within pharma industryExperience in in-licensing and out-licensing Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management
