H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking a Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to support the Information Systems Operations Service Support team at White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico. The DPM will assist in the management and maintenance of the IT infrastructure, hardware/software, assets, personnel and schedules to support a wide variety of IT services performed by contractor personnel to satisfy the requirements identified in the PWS. The DPM will directly support the contract Program Manager (PM) to ensure the Government’s requirements are met both in quality of delivery and schedule.
The Deputy Program Manager responsibilities will include:
- Establishing processes to govern technical tasking of contract statement of work including risk management, schedule management, quality management, and technical advisement.
- Providing support to contract PM, monitoring tasking area performance and metrics and developing contractual reporting that provide programmatic updates.
- Reviewing and managing schedules, milestones, risks, and deliverables of both IT supporting activities and required projects for upgrades, migrations, i.e. any changes to IT infrastructure.
- Assigning and overseeing the daily tasks of technical personnel while ensuring all subordinates are actively working toward established milestones.
- Providing oversight and management of Information Assurance team to ensure appropriate protocols, processes, and reporting meet contractual performance criteria.
- Assisting with the coordination of actions required between the application/system and the enterprise hosting environment.
- Preparing and conducting routine project review meetings with PM, technical team, and customers.
- Acting as a working member of the technical team, as needed, to facilitate completion of taskings.
- Utilizes Information Technology knowledge and expertise in conjunction with industry best practices and policies to collaborate with technical team, customers, and management personnel to determine solutions and resolve issues.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: 10+ years of experience hands-on and/or managing the following areas:
- Systems Engineering
- Systems Administration
- SharePoint Development and Administration
- Database Administration
- Help Desk Services
- Information Assurance
· Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Technology, Management of Information Systems, or related Computer/Technology degree.
- Certification:CompTIA Security + CE Certification and Operating System or Computing Environment certification, or CISSP or similar at time of application is required
- Clearance: Active Secret Clearance at time of application is required
· Knowledge:
o Familiarity with RMF A&A processes within a Department of Defense and/or Army environment
- Application/Software Development Lifecycle – Agile Methodology
- Data analytics utilizing advanced Excel (Pivot tables) and PowerBI
