QualDerm Partners is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Pinehurst, NC. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and documenting their medical histories.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and procedures, ensuring that all necessary instruments and equipment are ready.
  • Conduct basic laboratory tests and prepare specimens for analysis as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with privacy regulations.
  • Manage patient appointment scheduling and coordinate office communications for optimal workflow.
  • Educate patients regarding treatment plans, medications, and effective skincare practices.
  • Ensure that examination and procedure rooms are clean, organized, and well-stocked.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant is strongly preferred.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a dermatology setting is a plus.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology specific to dermatology is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective patient interaction.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, particularly in a busy clinical environment.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is helpful.
