Overview We have a client located in the Bremerton, Washington that has an immediate need for a Design Engineer. If you or any of your colleagues are interested in this position, please click Apply Now . In this role, you will be working as a Design Engineer for a manufacturer of aluminum boats. This position is responsible for developing 3D models, engineering drawings, CNC-ready outputs, and documentation packages that support active production programs. You will play a key part in helping deliver engineering deliverables under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. This is an immediate and long-term need for our client, and is available on a contract-to-hire basis. This is a full-time role with overtime available and must be done on-site. Pay: $25 - $40 / hr depending on experience and qualifications Job Requirements 5+ years of experience in mechanical design, aluminum fabrication design, marine design, or related industries Proficiency in Rhino 3D and AutoCAD Ability to create and update 3D models, 2D drawings, CNC nests, and engineering documentation Experience supporting engineering deliverables in fabrication-driven or regulated environments Ability to collaborate resourcefully with engineers, project staff, and fabrication teams in a fast-paced setting Bonus Mechanical or related engineering degree or similar technical education Electrical Engineering Degree or aptitude will be considered positively Experience preparing Government-standard or classification-standard deliverables Familiarity with marine vessel components, layout, or sheet metal / aluminum boat construction #J-18808-Ljbffr
