Experience Level: Early Career (2–4 Years)

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Required)


Overview

We are seeking a design-capable Mechanical Engineer with strong CAD experience to support product development from concept through launch. This role requires hands-on design ownership, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the ability to make manufacturing-driven decisions throughout the development cycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop DFM (Design for Manufacturability) feasible designs, making decisions based on manufacturing processes and customer requirements
  • Support program management during customer meetings, building strong technical relationships to advance product development
  • Provide technical support to plant operations during early manufacturing stages, including PPAP and production trials
  • Drive development and innovation of new technologies, materials, and processes aligned with the current product portfolio
  • Take full design responsibility for customer-assigned products


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (non-negotiable)
  • 2–4 years of experience in CAD design within an engineering environment
  • Proficiency in NX or CATIA (experience in both is a strong plus)
  • Strong understanding of engineering design principles and product development


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Teamcenter
  • Background in molding processes (vacuum forming, compression molding, injection molding, etc.)
  • Exposure to manufacturing environments and product launch activities
