We are currently seeking a skilled Design Engineer to support both our existing product lines and contribute to the development of exciting new products.

Position Summary:
We are looking for a Design Engineer who excels at modifying and updating technical drawings for existing products, while also collaborating cross-functionally in the creation of new products. This role requires a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of manufacturability, particularly in injection molding and metal fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Modify and update 2D and 3D CAD drawings for existing products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product development, from concept through production.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including BOMs, drawings, and specifications.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturing.
• Interface with vendors and manufacturing partners to ensure feasibility and quality of designs.
• Support prototype builds and testing as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a design engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency in SolidWorks - including part, assembly, and drawing creation.
• Experience with injection molding and metal fabrication processes is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with GD&T and engineering best practices.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
