What You Will Be Doing
Reporting to the Design Engineering Manager you take part in design aspects for sheet metal based products including:
- Initial intake with customers to scope projects and create proposals
- Design products for manufacturability
- Prepare BOM and develop Manufacturing Process flow
- Support material sourcing, selection and purchasing
- Oversee manufacturing/production process to ensure products are built to design
What You Need for this Position
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or 2 years of design experienced focused on sheet metal based products, in addition to:
- DFM
- BOM development
- Autodesk Inventor
- Material sourcing
