Design/Project Engineer at County Public Works The McPherson County Public Works Department is seeking a Full-time County Design/Project Engineer. This position will assist in the design of all county engineering projects, roads, bridges and drainage structure under the direction of the Project Engineer or Director. Will also assist in problem solving county road and bridge maintenance and construction issues and will assist in the operation of the counties' asphalt plant. Qualifications Must be a recent graduate from an accredited college or university preferably with an EIT or capable of obtaining the FE certification within 6 Months. Special Requirements After employment, the applicant will become Bridge Inspection Team Leader and will receive KDOT inspection and materials testing certifications. Applicant will also be trained in using Autodest Civil 3D, ASSHTOWare Bridge Loading software, Micro stations, and other design programs.
