Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Design & Release Engineer with expertise in Chassis and Suspension systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in design and development engineering within automotive OEMs or Tier 1 Chassis Suppliers. The role requires leadership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively across teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop chassis and suspension systems.
  • Conduct Design/Process Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA).
  • Develop and manage Design Verification Plans & Reports (DVP&R).
  • Apply Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) principles and reactive problem-solving techniques.
  • Oversee system/component design processes and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Manage change processes effectively.
  • Utilize NX (STLA CAD Platform) and Teamcenter (STLA Product Data Management System) for design and data management.
  • Summarize and present work to cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • Supervise engineering teams as required.
  • Prepare and deliver reports using Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
Skills Required:
  • Chassis and Suspension experience is mandatory.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in quality assurance and root cause analysis.
  • Familiarity with supplier quality assurance processes.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in one of the following fields (or equivalent):
    • Aeronautical/Aerospace Engineering
    • Agricultural Engineering
    • Biomedical/Biomechanical/Bioengineering
    • Chemical Engineering
    • Civil Engineering
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Materials Engineering
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Metallurgical Engineering

Degree must be from an Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET)-accredited university.
