Job Description

Job Description
LA (Lindeman & Associates) launched in 2015 and quickly established itself as a leader in the entertainment advertising space, winning Clio’s Agency of the Year in 2017. LA brings together artists, editors, and storytellers into one hyper-collaborative team specializing in crafting iconic 360°ree; campaigns. Our work grows audiences, sparks conversations, builds brands, and shapes culture. Though we hail from around the country—and the world—Los Angeles is our creative home and our muse.

LA is seeking an experienced Designer to join our Brand Design team under a contract expected to run up to 12 months, with the potential for early completion or conversion to full-time based on project needs and performance. In this role, you will create a variety of assets used to engage and attract consumers for one of our most high-profile clients. You will work alongside teams of Designers, Production Artists, and Producers to create and adapt bespoke designs for use in content experiences viewed by millions of people across the globe. This is a hybrid position with an in-office presence required Tuesday through Thursday.

What You’ll Do:

• Contribute across all phases of design—from ideation all the way through to production and QC
• Key art development for digital, printed retail and social media usage
• Review production mechanicals from Production team
• Create OOH mockups and presentation builds as needed
• Retouching oversight: working with vendors to provide notes until final approval on both product and talent imagery
• Support the wider brand design team as needed

What You’ll Bring:

• Minimum of 5+ years working in a fast-paced design role within marketing or advertising
• Sharp eye for detail, composition, and hierarchy
• Experience working with fashion, culture, and/or sports brands
• Exceptional work ethic, team mindset, and eagerness to contribute
• Proven taste and excellence in graphic design, image creation (Photoshop), layout, and typography (portfolio link required)
• Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign)
• Nice to have: Motion/animation skills (After Effects), Final Cut, Figma, or 3D software

The Pay:

The hourly compensation range for this position is $50–$65/hr. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, location, prior experience, and education.

This is a hybrid contract role expected to run up to 12 months, with the potential for early completion or conversion to full-time based on project needs and performance.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a person to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable qualified applicants and employees with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

• Extended periods of desk work involving long stretches of design, production, and review work
• Frequent verbal and written communication during meetings, creative reviews, and vendor coordination
• May involve standing and presenting design concepts or mockups to internal teams or clients
• Exceptional visual acuity and attention to detail, including the ability to distinguish color values, saturation, brightness, contrast, and fine typographic details
• Regular use of design software including Adobe Creative Suite and related tools, presentation software, and project management platforms
• Ability to manage multiple creative projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment

LA is an equal opportunity employer. We’re committed to making LA as inclusive and diverse as the audience we engage daily. LA is dedicated to providing access, equal opportunity, and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
