One Tech Engineering is searching for a Designer for a position located in Phillips, Wisconsin. The Designer will design and manage electric distribution projects for new and existing customers.

The candidate must be a US citizen or hold a green card. The candidate will have several years of professional work experience and basic electrical knowledge or background.

Designer Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers and address their project needs.
• Manage projects from planning through execution.
• Conduct field assessments and surveys.
• Perform system design using GE Smallworld (customized GIS).
• Size transformers, plan underground cable routes, and determine pole placement.
• Review SAP for new customer contacts.
• Attend weekly scheduling meetings and team coordination sessions.

Requirements of the Designer:

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2+ years of professional work experience.
• Basic electrical knowledge or background.
• Previous experience in electrical or utility fields preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• GIS or AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
