Desktop Support Analyst Apply
Our customer is an IT Services leader responsible for the outsourced support of a world leader in office furniture manufacturing at their Batavia, OH location. We are looking for a talented individual to join their Desktop Support Team to provide 1st‑shift support on site. The ideal candidate will bring 2+ years of strong hands‑on technical end‑user support, a great personality, and a high motivation to grow in an IT career. The role requires providing technical support and hardware installation in an enterprise‑level environment, as well as supporting project work such as deployments of new end‑user technology. Facility Information 600,000 ft² warehouse / distribution center $2–3M worth of product shipped out daily One of our main distribution centers – full‑time onsite IT support is critical to operations Support Expectations Full‑time onsite IT support for the facility Broad IT experience, willingness to learn new technologies, and ability to troubleshoot any technology‑related issue Warehouse or manufacturing experience is a must; limited office support required Responsibilities may evolve as the role expands or transfers to other teams Sampling of Current Tasks Imaging, configuration, and management of PCs, laptops, desktops, etc. Configuration and management of RF scanners and printers (desktop, label, etc.) Full asset management of IT equipment in the facility Ordering and managing peripheral devices, cables, monitors, etc. Specialty hardware configurations (e.g., mobile PC carts, inventory scanners) Scanner locker system management Badge system administration (create, add, remove ID badges) All onsite hands‑on work for any IT equipment Daily ongoing support and ticket handling (primarily in‑person requests) Remote IT support for other regional warehouse locations Lifecycle refresh of devices (e.g., RF scan guns replacement project) Skills Desktop troubleshooting Windows 10 Desktop support Additional Skills & Qualifications This role requires someone who is self‑directed, can manage their time independently, and is the sole technical support on occasion.
