Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Mokena, Illinois. In this role, you will provide exceptional technical support to a diverse user base, ranging from executives to plant-floor employees. This is a long-term contract position offering opportunities to travel to multiple facilities and gain training on specialized equipment like Zebra scanners and printers.
Responsibilities:
• Deliver technical support services to ensure smooth operation of hardware and software systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows 10, Active Directory, and other systems.
• Configure and set up Zebra scanners, printers, and RF-SMART devices following training.
• Manage and prioritize help desk tickets using a ticketing system to address user requests effectively.
• Communicate professionally with all levels of staff, from executives to plant-floor employees.
• Collaborate with a team of 4-5 service desk professionals to ensure seamless IT operations.
• Perform on-site support at various facilities after plant system go-live.
• Provide guidance to users on best practices for utilizing IT resources.
• Ensure all equipment is functional by performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Lift and transport equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a service desk or desktop support role.• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows 10 and Active Directory.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving IT-related issues.
• Familiarity with RF scanners and RF-SMART systems.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills across all organizational levels.
• Ability to navigate and utilize ticketing systems efficiently.
• Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to travel to various facilities and adapt to different work environments.
