Job Description:
This is a mid-level position where they will be providing technical assistance to customers regarding various hardware and software applications. The main duties include troubleshooting and diagnosing different technical issues, assessing and understanding the user needs and issues, and recommending/implementing technical fixes for our Associates.
Successful applicants will be tasked with the following:
- Resolving general helpdesk tickets for end-users within a Windows environment
- Active Directory Group/User/Password changes
- Troubleshooting networking and connection issues
- Providing basic training in computer operation and management
- Hardware troubleshooting
- Following escalation procedures
- General software access issues
- Provide in person and onsite technical support to a wide range of user.
- Identifying outdated documentation
- Other tasks as required.
The ideal candidate will be able to prove the following:
- Ability to work onsite for first 4-6 weeks and hybrid afterwards (2 days in office/week at this time)
- Must be comfortable with Active Directory and supporting a Windows 10 (soon to be 11) environment.
- Ability to work across a 6am – 5pm Mountain Time shift schedule (8hr shift with 1hr lunch break, schedule will be based on the team need for coverage)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to maintain a work log of job tickets with relevant and updated notes.
- Ability to follow written instructions.
Qualifications:
- PowerShell experience
- A+ Certification
- 2 Years of IT experience
