Desktop Support Technician Apply
We are seeking a motivated and customer‑focused Desktop Support Technician to provide high‑quality technical assistance to end users. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, professionalism, and hands‑on experience with imaging and desktop support. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service while supporting end users both in person and remotely. Follow established procedures and instructions to resolve technical issues efficiently and accurately. Perform imaging, configuration, and deployment of end‑user devices using standard tools and processes. Provide day‑to‑day desktop support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues. Document issues, resolutions, and steps taken to ensure accurate records and knowledge sharing. Escalate complex issues when appropriate while maintaining ownership of tickets until resolution. Maintain a professional demeanor and contribute positively to team goals and service quality. Required Skills & Qualifications Strong communication skills with the ability to follow directions and deliver excellent customer service. 1–2 years of hands‑on imaging experience with desktops or laptops. 1–2 years of desktop support or technical support experience. 3–5 years of total professional work experience (not limited to IT), demonstrating maturity, professionalism, and motivation to learn and grow. Ability to troubleshoot effectively, stay organized, and manage multiple support tasks. A proactive mindset with a strong desire to assist others and solve problems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Portland, OR. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
