Desktop Support Technician Apply
Desktop Support Technician (Contract) Location: Hornell, NY Rate Range: $30/hour to $35/hour; negotiate based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Responsibilities Experience in SNOW (Service Now) ticketing system preferred. Management of assigned queue autonomously required. Stock management: responsible for the physical stock; accuracy between SNOW and Physical Stock Spreadsheet, validate and follow up missing PCs; deployment and recovery of PCs at local site and assigned Depot sites; ensure all assets kept in a locked secure location. Hardware deployment and refresh. Hardware break-fix. Supplier to work with Alstom local ops organization for prioritization of issues at site level. Provide Hands and Eyes support and services at Customer facilities. Provide equipment and depot services from select sites. Meet or exceed contractually agreed upon Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Maintain and improve desk-side service/support levels. Maintain and improve End-User productivity. Reception and support of any third party companies like hardware suppliers or maintenance and after-sales support providers including but not limited to local network equipment, servers, printers, computers. On-boarding: delivery of corporate IT assets (PC, phones, tablets, etc.), applications and systems access play a significant part of the on boarding process. The On-Site Support agents play an important role in order to ensure a seamless and high quality integration of new employees. The ultimate objective being to ensure a high satisfaction of the user.
