Base pay range $120,000.00/yr - $130,000.00/yr Location Lansing, MI Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled VC++ and C++ Developer with 4 to 7 years of experience in working with older versions of VC++ and C++. The ideal candidate should also possess Java (Core Java & J2EE) expertise and have a basic understanding of C# and React, as this role involves migrating legacy applications to modern technologies like C# Web API and React. Responsibilities: Analyze, rebuild, and maintain existing VC++ and C++ applications. Review and explain legacy C++ & VC++ code, including dependencies and system architecture. Lead migration projects from C++ to C# Web API and VC++ to React. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new solutions. Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and issues during migration. Maintain high code quality, documentation, and automation processes. Requirements: 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in VC++ and C++ development. 4 to 7 years of experience in Core Java and J2EE. Strong knowledge of older versions of VC++ and C++. Exposure to C# Web API and React is a plus. Familiarity with Azure Cloud is an added advantage. Experience with Git and version control systems. Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies, Jira, and Confluence. Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience working on migration projects from C++ to modern technologies. Exposure to DevOps practices and automation tools.
