The Judiciary is seeking a skilled, experienced and energetic consultant who is well-versed in WebFOCUS 8 to write and develop reports (in both GUI and source code) and create HTML User Interfaces within the WebFocus environment.
Note: Client is looking for a candidate with the flexibility to come into the office and work from home.
The consultant will be responsible for evaluating how the existing reports are written, determining what fields were used, analyzing the report structure, as well as designing, coding and testing each of the reports. The consultant will be involved in maintaining (including production support), enhancing existing reports, and developing new projects from scratch.
The consultant must have a broad range of skills, a general knowledge of WebFOCUS internals, and the understanding of associated technologies that WebFOCUS uses (PDF, EXCEL, HTML, AHTML and WORD as output formats). The programmer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving production issues related to legacy and new-development reports.
This is a professional level non-supervisory position which will require coordination of programming activities being conducted by the Team Lead in association within the existing structure, rules and guidelines of the current AOC WebReporting environment. This person will confer with other business and technical personnel who own data in various other systems stemming from many stored sources of information (DB2, Sybase, SQL, Mainframe Flat Files, etc.).
Skills/Qualifications:
Must be able to compare actual project procedures to the specified standards and procedures
Should be able to demonstrate expertise with the most recent and relevant technologies in the WebFocus environment
Must have excellent communication skills and possess the ability to collaborate with internal and external groups including vendors
Skills:

Responsibilities:

* Due to the current worldwide epidemic, the consultant will be required to work independently at their own defined location and as a member of a team. Independent work will consist of, but not limited to, design, prototyping and documentation. Team work will consist of collaboratively connecting with another analyst remotely to bring the project to the end user as well as participate at two scheduled weekly meetings.
