Position Summary: Development Engineer Location: Valley Green, PA (Harrisburg Area) AICC, a division of Amphenol, leads in high-speed, high-bandwidth electrical connectors for Telecom/Datacom markets, supporting major Tier 1 OEMs globally. Our headquarters are in Nashua, NH, with design, sales, and manufacturing locations worldwide. We seek a Development Engineer for connector Mezzanine Products . Responsibilities include concept generation, design, verification, qualification, and supporting new business opportunities. Ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet customer requirements, including electrical, mechanical, and environmental standards. You will work as part of a global cross-functional team and interact with customers. Responsibilities Conceptualize, design, and develop power connector solutions aligned with strategic roadmaps and new business needs. Collaborate with front-end teams and customers to define product and application requirements. Lead product design reviews and deliver technical presentations. Develop testing programs to verify product performance per design intent. Present concepts early to customers, interpret feedback, and incorporate revisions. Define product, application, and packaging specifications. Create verification and qualification test plans. Coordinate with NPI and manufacturing engineering to transition products to production. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering. 5+ years of experience. Experience in connector design. Proficient in SolidWorks for 3D modeling. Understanding of drawing standards like ASME Y14.5. Strong knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing. Excellent communication skills with global customers and internal teams. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects. Experience with ANSYS or other FEA simulation tools.
