DevOps & Software Manager (Azure/PHP) – Remote - £100,000-£120,0000 + bonus We’re exclusively partnered with a market-leading mortgage technology platform company, who last year released their flagship product which has resulted in them winning awards and becoming the most successful solution on the market.With major platform expansion, increased user adoption and migration, and new product innovation in AI underway, they’re entering a new phase of growth and this role plays a key pillar in their development teams.This is an environment where impact is immediate, you’ll work closely with the director of development while leading a team of 6 made up of 3 PHP developers & 3 DevOps Engineers to lead and take ownership of DevOps strategy and direction, lead cloud native infrastructure at scale and influence how modern fintech platforms evolveWhat you’ll be doing:Leading and mentoring DevOps and Development teams (team size 6, growing)Owning CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and operational reliabilityDriving automation, scalability, performance, and cost optimisationPartnering closely with engineers to deliver cloud-native solutionsRequirements:Strong commercial PHP experience (essential)Strong experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-native architecturesProven experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practicesExpertise in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / ARM)Proficient with Git and version control workflowsExperience with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS desirable)Strong scripting skills (PowerShell / Bash)Experience leading/managing a teamThis is a hugely exciting role and opportunity for someone who’s looking for a step up, opportunity to grow across the board and work for a business with a fantastic culture, team and product!The role is remote or with visits to the London/Ipswitch office once/twice a month (preference) but not required, the team is scattered remotely across the UK.You’ll receive a generous package including a salary up to £120,000 + 12% performance bonus (paid last 2 years) and a very strong benefits package that values you, your work life balance and family!.Please apply immediately as interviews are looking to be scheduled!
