Description The Leidos Intel sector has an opening for a DevOps Engineer to assist with the development, integration, deployment, and sustainment of mission critical systems.Primary Responsibilities:Participate in custom code development and review activities to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to project standards.Build, update, and troubleshoot GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including resolving errors and writing supporting scripts.Configure and support AWS services such as CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, and serverless components including Lambda and API Gateway.Work with developers to support testing activities, validate functionality, and ensure smooth integration into production environments.Write and maintain Python scripts to automate tasks, streamline workflows, and support system operations.Basic Qualifications:Requires a BS in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or closely related discipline and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2+ years of prior relevant experience.Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI with Polygraph post hireActive Security+ or ability to obtain within 2 weeks of starting the positionProactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent oral and written communication skills.Understanding of custom code development/reviewsExperience with cloud-based architecturesUnderstanding of DevSecOps methodologies and workflowExperience using CI/CD pipelinesKnowledge of SW Development and SW Sustainment PracticesTeam Collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence)Experience with GITLAB functionality, error codes and scriptingExperience using AWS services/technologies (e.g. CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS)Experience with AWS Serverless architectures (lambda, API gateway, load balancing, autoscaling)Experience supporting development testingExperience with python scriptingPreferred QualificationsExperience with AWS Lambda and AWS ECSAWS certification (e.g. DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect)Experience with ArcGIS or geospatial technologiesIf you're looking for comfort, keep scrolling.
