DevOps Developer Immediate need for a talented DevOps Developer with experience in the Telecom Industry. This is a 06 months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Ashburn VA. Key Responsibilities: Develop automation scripts to automate the creation and maintenance of environments. Create and implement monitoring tools and solutions to provide visibility into the infrastructure and application performance. Diagnose complex system problems using dumps, traces or other diagnostics aids. Diagnose system performance problems using available standard performance tools and system indicators such as queue lengths, CPU utilization and Datadog. Automate the installation of applications, programs and system components to minimize customer downtime. Recommend and change system parameters or configuration variables to improve overall system performance and stability. Look for opportunities for continual improvements in infrastructure and processes. Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment. Ensure a scalable process and infrastructure with a focus on high availability. Adapts to changing and evolving business priorities by offering options and constructive ideas on how to achieve the goals given the realities of time and resources. Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments. Willingness to pitch-in and help others on the team as needed. Keep abreast of technology trends and best practice with the ability to share those findings with the team. Adhere to the standards of the team while also looking for opportunities to improve on team processes. Willing to work after hours and weekends when/as needed. Meticulous attention to detail to support all environment in dev life cycle. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or other related field. Superior written and oral communication skills. MUST HAVE SKILLS: Strong experience with WebLogic 12.1 and 12.2. Install, upgrade, Configure, Administer, and troubleshoot Experience with JBOss Apache. Install, upgrade, Configure, Administer, and troubleshoot Experience integrating CICD pipeline with automated test scripts. Java J2EE 7 / 8 and Linux 7.x Scripting Languages like bash, Perl, Python, WLST Implementation Tools like Puppet and Ansible Informatica 9.6 & above and WebLogic OBIEE. Install, upgrade, Configure, Administer, and troubleshoot Experience in Oracle Cloud (OCI) Strong experience using deployment and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Stash, Jira, Ant, Maven, etc Experience with Oracle Service Bus and Weblogic based messaging technologies. Application log management tools like logstash, splunk, etc Strong debugging skills and identifying root causes DESIRED SKILLS: Experience in Oracle databases on RACK Any of RASP technologies like Prevorty etc SiteMinder SSO web agent Exposed to Information Security with Corporate and Regulatory guidelines Experience with Dynatrace EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS: Desired: Certified in Oracle cloud OR AWS REQUIRED SHIFT: Position requires occasional "on call" or after hour support Our client is a leading Telecom Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
