DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer Englewood Cliff, NJ • 5+ years of experience with Linux operating systems • 5+ years of experience supporting services, microservices, and n-tier systems • 5+ years of experience with cloud technologies such as AWS • 5+ years of experience with provisioning tools such as CloudFormation • 5+ years of experience with software automation technologies • 5+ years of experience with Continuous Integration practices • 5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code practices • 5+ years of experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Perl • 5+ years of experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Salt, Chef, or Puppet • 5+ years of experience with build tools such as Jenkins, Maven, Ivy, or Ant • Extensive experience with AWS services including CloudFront, S3, IAM, Route53, and EC2 • Works effectively both independently and as part of a cross-functional team • Must be available and willing to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed Ideal Additional Skills • Strong desire to work as L1 support and automate as much as possible • Familiarity with Agile software development methodology • Experience with version control tools and platforms such as Git, GitHub, or Subversion • Experience with collaboration platforms such as JIRA, Confluence, or Wiki • Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker
