In This Role Strong at solving infrastructure problems with reusable code, building compute capacity, and operating at scale with Kubernetes deployments. Lead key projects in design, development, and post‑release support of Salesforce platforms and tools used by internal teams to support government customers. Collaborate with internal teams to iterate automated CI/CD pipelines, maintaining feature velocity and reproducing production issues. Build and ship high‑quality, production‑grade software using modern engineering practices, integrating AI tools to deliver secure, optimized code. Design and orchestrate complex systems where AI agents integrate seamlessly into human workflows. Contribute to building and maintaining the shared system context repository enabling accurate and reliable AI operation. Critically evaluate code (human or AI‑generated) for correctness, quality, security and performance. Demonstrate autonomy, ownership, and accountability in all areas. Understand large‑scale production infrastructure on third‑party cloud providers. Automate governance solutions and transform manual processes. Create and maintain detailed documentation. Improve collaboration across multiple Salesforce infrastructure teams. Interact with developers, open‑source committers and architects. Research and adopt tools, creating new ones if necessary. Requirements Proven expertise in AWS environments, infra build and optimization; IaaS networking (TCP/IP, transit gateway, VPC, security groups, route tables). 3+ years deploying distributed apps with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, GKE). 3+ years development experience in IaC and configuration management (Terraform and/or Ansible). 3+ years Linux system engineering experience. 2+ years managing infrastructure and application security for highly sensitive customer data (IAM, CI/CD, PKI). 3+ years deploying with CI orchestration services (Spinnaker, Jenkins). 2+ years scripting/programming (Shell, Python, Golang). Experience with log management and analytics (Splunk / ELK). AI‑first approach, using AI to accelerate development. Experience with AI tools (Claude, GitHub Copilot, Codex, Cursor, etc.). Advanced prompt engineering skills. Strong analytical skills and dedication to professional development. Excellent interpersonal skills and communication proficiency. Nice to Haves Background in production service management, including on‑call/PagerDuty rotations and monitoring SLIs/SLOs. Experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or similar monitoring tools. Experience embedding security & compliance tools in pipelines (OPA, Checkov, Twistlock, Prisma).
