Location: Hybrid in Irvine, CA
- A skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 9 years overall experience with at least 5-6 years of experience in DevOps, with a strong background in Kafka, Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
What are the day-to-day responsibilities?
- Design and manage scalable and reliable infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes.
- Implement, maintain, and monitor CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and smooth deployment processes.
- Manage and optimize Kafka clusters for real-time data processing.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and application deployment.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and security.
- Continuously improve and streamline our DevOps processes and practices.
Must-haves:
- 1.Confluent Streaming Platform
- 2.Kafka
- Cloud/devopps
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5-6 years of experience in a DevOps role.
- 5-6 years of experience with Java.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Solid understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
