DevOps Engineer

Hansen Talent Group is seeking a DevOps/Platform Engineer to supporta VMWare re-platforming project, focusing on container management. The ideal candidate will have in-depth experience supporting Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines for cloud platforms and programming work with Python and Go Lang. What you'll do: Configuring and maintaining theinfrastructure, support with any tasks related toOLVM migration, ensuring compatibility andintegration with the VMWare re-platforming process. Leveraging Kubernetes forcontainer management, automating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy, and performingUnix/Linux system administration to ensure stability and scalability. Their work will support theseamless transition and integration of OLVM within the broader VMWare re-platforminginitiative. Supportcloud engineering and CI/CD pipeline automation including modifyexisting pipelines to align with the VMWare re-platforming and OLVM migration requirements, as well as developing new pipelines to address specific needs of the project. Use Jenkins, Python, Groovy, and shell scripting to support automation tasks, including building, deploying, and maintaining pipelines Monitorsystem health, troubleshooting issues, applying patches, and ensuring the scalability of the infrastructure. Utilizesystem availability (uptime percentage), CI/CD pipeline efficiency (deployment speed and success rate), and incident resolution times (mean time to recovery) for success metrics. Ensure adherence to standard security practices, including secure coding, access control, and data protection measures, while working on the migration and maintenance phases. Collaboration with other engineers and project managers.
