Title: DevOps SRE / Operations Engineer

Location: Remote; Location in California preferred

Duration: Long Term

W2 only

Job Duties:

1. Design, Implement and maintain AWS infrastructure using Cloudformation templates

(IAC)

2. Manage and provision AWS resources such as Ec2, RDS, S3, VPC, Lambda, AWS

workspaces.

3. Develop and maintain CICD pipelines using AWS Codebuild, Code Pipelines.

4. Implement monitoring solutions using AWS CloudWatch, Splunk observability.

5. Work closely with development teams to optimize deployments, monitor performance

and manage infrastructure changes

6. Document infrastructure, procedures and troubleshooting guides to ensure consistency

across environments.

7. Automate repetitive tasks and improve infrastructure using python / Bash.

Mandatory Qualifications

1. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in SRE, DevOps or similar role.

2. Profeciency in AWS Services including Ec2, S3 VPC, RDS, LAMBDA, IAM and

Cloudformation.

3. Experience with AWS Codebuild, Codepipeline and integrating with Git repositories.

4. Strong knowledge of Cloudformation for infrastructure management.

5. Proficiency in Bash scripting

6. Familiarity with GIT for source control

7. Demostrated ability to troubleshoot infrastructure and application users

8. Experience in working with ECS Fargates, docker containers.

9. Experience in configuring AWS workspaces for users.

Desirable Qualification

1. Desirable to have python scripting for automation.

2. Experience with AWS Cost explorer or other tools to manage and optimize

infrastructure costs.

3. Understanding Cloud networking concepts.

4. Hands on experience in managing AWS workspaces and production environments on

AWS
