Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, active DHH teaching certification, and 1+ years Teacher of the Deaf / Hard of Hearing experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A specialized teaching opportunity is available for a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing, working with students in an educational setting. This position offers both local and travel contract opportunities, providing a unique chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students with hearing impairments.

Location: Hollis, NH (Local) or various travel assignments across multiple regions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing.
  • Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to students' needs.
  • Collaborate with classroom teachers, speech therapists, and audiologists to enhance student learning.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly.
  • Support students social and emotional development within the school environment.

  • Certification or licensure as a Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing.
  • Experience working with students who have hearing impairments in school settings.
