Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Transthoracic Echocardiograms (TTE), stress tests, contrast injections, and bubble studies according to department protocols.
- Operate echocardiography equipment from various vendors, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
- Utilize EPIC EHR and PACS systems for accurate documentation and image storage.
- Maintain compliance with echocardiography standards set by professional governing bodies.
- Provide patient education and ensure comfort throughout procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to support diagnosis and treatment plans.
- Preferably assist in advanced cardiac imaging such as structural heart procedures (e.g., TAVR).
Required Qualifications:
- Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited ultrasound program.
- Current AHA BLS certification.
- Any ONE of the following certifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) ARDMS
- Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) CCI
- Minimum of 2 years of cardiac sonography experience.
- Proficiency in performing TTE, stress testing, contrast injections, and bubble studies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in structural heart imaging, including TAVR procedures.
