POSITION SUMMARY
As a licensed medical team member at our office, you and the team will participate in the educating of patients while working with the clinicians as they report the findings of an exam and the diagnostic imaging such as ultrasounds, motion x-rays, and still x-rays. You will be responsible for preparing the patient to see the doctor and/or nurse. You will be responsible for preparing the doctor and/or nurse on any new conditions the patient is experiencing.

As a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer on the team, you will be responsible for greeting patients and explaining the full procedure to them, answering questions they may have about what to expect, and performing routine screenings and ultrasounds. You will also use your best judgment to interpret results and accurately differentiate between normal and abnormal findings, consult with colleagues as needed, and deliver the results to the patient in a kind, informative way. The ideal candidate has the necessary licensing, is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and has excellent communication skills.

- Develop emotional connection with patients to understand their expected goals and desired outcomes
- Ensure that all the necessary services for the patient are provided on the day service
- Provide and ensure completion of all patient paperwork
- Effectively and continually educate patients about the need for, and progress through, the care plan
- Ensure that all of the patients needs are met, nothing gets overlooked, and care is consistent with the patients expressed desires
- Ensure that the next appointment for patients is scheduled correctly.
- Encourage, resolve concerns, and gather testimonials during care plan
