- Performing preventive maintenance services on Class 8 tractors at all levels
- Identifying warrantable repairs and documenting them on repair order
- Maintaining work area appearance and safety
- Road testing vehicles for diagnosing malfunctions or ensuring proper working
- Using hand tools like screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, pressure gauges, precision instruments, and power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, jacks and hoists
- Having a minimum of 1 year practical experience with Class 8 tractor maintenance
- Holding a vocational/technical certificate is preferred.
