Chip’s Transport, a family-owned and operated transportation company, is looking for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team and run the shop. About the RoleThis is a full-time position based in Foxboro, MA. Flexible hours — days, nights, or weekends. Key Responsibilities:Inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel-powered vehicles and machinery, including trucks and construction equipment. Perform routine maintenance and preventative service (PMs)Handle brake work, hydraulic systems, welding, and fabricationUse diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve issuesMaintain accurate service records and documentationConduct test drives to verify repairsWork closely with the shop foreman to keep operations running smoothlySkills and Qualifications:Proficiency in diesel engine repair and maintenance.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment.What We Offer:Competitive hourly pay40 hours a week with some overtime availableHealth, dental & vision insurance401K with company matchFlexible scheduleA long-term opportunity with a tight-knit, reliable team$35 to $45 per hour depending on knowledge and experience$2500.00 sign on bonusSound like a good fit?
