As a Diesel Mechanic you will support engineering during testing activities
Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations, and support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection.

Job Requirements

Details:

• Min
  5 years of truck service or Heavy-Duty Truck or relevant diesel automotive experience
  
• Education: High School Diploma
• Basic understanding or knowledge of Truck systems (steering, suspension, brakes, electrical, engine, transmission, drivability/handling, emissions)
• Heavy duty diesel diagnostics is a plus.
• Identify different types of instrumentation, understand application, and understand function.
• Support engineering by instrumenting trucks for data collection during testing activities.
• Change instrumentation, collect data, change/modify parts through test iterations, component testing
  
• Must have basic PC skills - Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
• Perform vehicle retrofits including custom installations to prepare vehicles for test.
• Routine maintenance and inspections on class 8 vehicles
• Programming and troubleshooting of vehicle systems using service tools.
