Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietitian to join a mission-driven care team serving elderly participants in Sioux City, Iowa. In this full-time role, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team focused on improving health outcomes through comprehensive nutritional care and education. The position offers a supportive environment that encourages professional growth and a strong commitment to community health.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and provide individualized nutritional care for participants

• Assess nutritional needs and develop care plans to address them

• Evaluate and document participants' nutritional outcomes

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and nutritional standards

• Obtain and review nutritional and medical histories

• Recommend and implement effective nutrition interventions

• Complete nutrition assessments in accordance with regulatory guidelines

• Educate participants and staff on diet, food safety, and nutrition best practices

• Document all participant information in the EMR system

• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team meetings to ensure coordinated care

Schedule and Shift Details

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. 4:30 p.m.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Nutrition, Dietetics, or a related field

• Minimum of 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office or similar software

• Current licensure/certification in at least one of the following:

  • Dietetic Technician Registered (DTR)

  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN)

  • Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) in the state of Iowa

• Current certification in one of the following:

  • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
