The Digital Marketing Lead drives the brand’s digital strategy and social media marketing initiatives while serving as the product owner on multiple digital and technology-driven projects. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of agency or brand experience, a strong digital focus, and a desire to continually grow their skills in the fast-paced restaurant industry. With a background in consumer brands or agencies, the Digital Marketing Lead can identify trends, execute on Marketing’s vision, and enhance both online and in-store guest experiences, aligning initiatives with brand objectives to demonstrate measurable ROI. This position is based in the corporate support center and reports to the Director of Marketing.
What will you be responsible for?
Social Media Content Strategy & Management
- Plan, execute, and track social media content across platforms.
- Develop campaigns for promotions, new products, branding, co-branding, and partnerships.
- Monitor platforms and manage engagement by responding to all brand and local page comments, reviews, and ratings.
- Grow followers and engagement across all social channels.
- Adapt tone and voice based on platform audience.
- Coordinate, schedule, and optimize national digital advertising campaigns.
Email & SMS Marketing
- Support content creation, editing, and proofreading for email and SMS campaigns.
- Build and maintain email templates; assist in campaign segmentation and A/B testing (experience a plus).
- Deploy SMS campaigns.
Website & CMS Management
- Update website content, landing pages, and digital assets.
- Manage consumer and franchise websites.
- Use analytics to track and evaluate customer experience, optimize for conversions, and improve guest engagement.
- Collaborate on website initiatives to improve sales and performance.
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, or other coding languages is a plus.
Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with external marketing vendors.
Loyalty Program Coordination
- Support content creation and campaign execution for Cousins Club Rewards.
- Experience with the Punchh loyalty platform is a plus.
Budgeting & Project Management
- Manage marketing budgets and project timelines efficiently.
Local Store Marketing & SEO Support
- Maintain and optimize location data on Google My Business and other platforms.
- Implement SEO and local search strategies to increase online visibility.
Analytics, Reporting & Performance
- Track performance metrics across campaigns and channels.
- Report ROAS and campaign effectiveness.
Innovation & Emerging Technologies
- Research emerging marketing technologies and trends.
- Evaluate potential adoption and provide recommendations.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in multi-channel marketing.

- Ability to adapt messaging for various platforms and audiences.

What are we looking for?
· Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field
· 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, social media, and project management
· Hands-on experience with digital design, programming, or front-end development (HTML/CSS or other languages)
· Experience in a restaurant or service organization highly desirable
· Google Ads and Google Analytics certifications preferred
· Proficiency with social media and location management tools (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Yelp, SOCi)
· Experience managing email and SMS marketing campaigns
· Experience with website content management systems and digital initiatives that drive conversions
· Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, independently and collaboratively, across departments, while staying on schedule and within budget
· Experience developing and executing digital marketing strategies and campaigns that align with brand initiatives and deliver measurable ROI
· Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies a plus
· Familiarity with API integrations and quality assurance (QA) testing for web and mobile
· Strong creative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
· Excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills
· Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
