Job Description

Digital Marketing Manager

Our client is hiring a hands-on Digital Marketing Manager to own and improve their core digital growth engine. This role sits between strategy and execution. The successful candidate will translate business goals into focused quarterly priorities, run day-to-day digital programs, and help bring structure and clarity to how marketing work gets done.

This is an in-house role for someone who enjoys building momentum, improving systems, and seeing the direct impact of their work. The role partners closely with the Marketing Director and senior leadership, with ownership of execution and prioritization across digital channels.
The title can flex based on experience, but the mandate is clear: make digital marketing more effective, more focused, and more repeatable.

What You’ll Be Responsible For
The primary responsibility is to plan, execute, and improve digital marketing efforts across a defined set of channels.

That includes:
Digital Growth Execution

  • Own day-to-day execution across website, email, SEO, paid media, and social
  • Turn high-level goals into a simple quarterly plan and execute against it
  • Launch, test, measure, and refine initiatives based on performance

Website and Conversion Experience

  • Improve website usability, landing pages, accessibility, and conversion paths
  • Maintain and update CMS content
  • Ensure clear paths from interest to inquiry across web, LMS, and CRM touchpoints

Campaigns and Channels

  • Build and optimize paid campaigns (Google Ads, paid social, retargeting)
  • Develop and manage email campaigns and basic automation (segmentation, nurture, reporting)
  • Maintain consistent, lightweight social activity aligned with brand and campaigns

Measurement and Reporting

  • Establish clear metrics and reporting using GA4, Search Console, and platform analytics
  • Apply UTM standards and ensure performance data is usable and consistent
  • Share insights and recommendations, not just numbers

Prioritization and Focus

  • Help filter and organize incoming requests
  • Ask the right questions, recommend tradeoffs, and confidently sequence work
  • Keep the team focused on what matters most, rather than reacting to every request

How You’ll Work

  • Operate with ownership and manage an independent backlog
  • Start with imperfect information and adjust based on results
  • Communicate clearly with marketing, sales, and senior stakeholders
  • Collaborate effectively with vendors and internal partners without over-reliance

This role values good judgment as much as technical skill.

What Success Looks Like
First 90 days

  • Develop a strong understanding of the business and its product lines
  • Assess the current digital landscape and identify clear improvement opportunities
  • Launch early wins and establish a simple planning and prioritization rhythm

Over time

  • Digital marketing becomes more focused, measurable, and repeatable
  • Campaigns ship consistently and improve over time
  • Stakeholders have clarity on what marketing is working on and why

What We’re Looking For
The client cares most about capability and judgment.

The ideal candidate likely brings:

  • 3 to 5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience
(or 5 to 7 years with a high school diploma or GED)
  • Experience executing across multiple digital channels, not just one
  • Comfort owning work end to end, from planning through execution and reporting

You should be comfortable with:

  • SEO and analytics (GA4, Search Console, platform reporting)
  • Paid media (Google Ads and or paid social)
  • Email marketing and basic automation
  • CMS updates and landing page changes
  • Light design or production work (Adobe Creative Suite or similar)
  • Clear writing, organization, and attention to detail

Nice to have

  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, or related industries
  • Basic HTML and CSS knowledge
  • Familiarity with Asana or similar project tools

Benefits
Competitive wages, growth opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and life insurance.
