Dining Server - Full-TimeThe Dining Servers provide excellent customer service and create a pleasant dining experience for Residents and guests, through taking meal orders, serving meals, and providing assistance. Various full-time schedules available.Position/Job Title: Server (Full-Time)Pay Range: $16.00 HourlyJob Summary: Provide excellent customer service to our residents. Take resident orders, serving meals, providing assistance, and creating a pleasant dining experience for the resident.Key Responsibilities:Take residents' dining orders in a friendly and attentive dispositionLearn and retain residents' names, special requests, and dietary restrictionsEnsure dining room is set up, all items needed for service are readily available (silverware, napkins, menus, salt/pepper shakers, etc.)Assist with cleaning and sanitizing the dining room, menus, kitchen, serving stations, and other areas as directedEnsure safe food handlingAssist with preparation of beverages, snacks, desserts, salads, and condiments for serviceAssist residents with any special dining requestsEnsure all residents are accounted for during each meal, and completing documentation of their attendanceAssist with special eventsParticipates in and attends all in-service training as scheduledEnsures compliance with all Federal, State, and local regulations, as well as community policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualifications:High school diploma preferred/GED acceptedMinimum of one (1) year experience in fine dining hospitality and/or full service senior livingAbility to handle multiple prioritiesCompetent in organizational, time management skillsDemonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skillsExperience working with seniorsPhysical Abilities:While performing the duties of this job, the associate is often required to stand, walk, sit, use fine and gross motor skills, reach with hands and arms, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, hear, and smell.An individual in this position will be required to lift or carry weight in up to 50 lbs. Intermittent physical activity includes lifting and supporting residents.
