Formal Job Title: Associate Director of Parish Cemeteries Location: Diocese of Youngstown The Associate Director of Parish Cemeteries is responsible for leading and executing the strategic objectives for all assigned Parish Cemeteries within the Diocese of Youngstown. This role oversees sales, service, operations, grounds, and administration to: Ensure compassionate care to families Strengthen parish partnerships Drive growth Engage the community Key Responsibilities Engage with assigned Diocesan parishes to develop individual cemetery strategic plans Oversee the implementation of custom improvement roadmaps for each parish cemetery Act as subject matter expert on cemetery planning and operations available to parish cemeteries Diocese wide Conduct operations reviews and present results along with recommendations for improvement Educate parish stakeholders on the goals of the Parish Cemetery Program and the tools available to support improvement initiatives. Qualifications Practicing Catholic with demonstrated faith-based leadership and a deep understanding of Catholic teachings on end-of-life care 4–6 years of leadership experience in operations, sales, or business management 2–4 years of experience in a non-profit or Church ministry setting strongly preferred Proven leadership in client-facing environments with emphasis on compassionate care Excellent communication, collaboration, and servant leadership skills Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and proof of insurance Proficient with computers, technology, and office systems Compensation & Benefits Base salary starting at $70,000 Medical, Dental, and Vision Benefits Retirement benefits Paid Time Off About CFCS Catholic Funeral & Cemetery Services partners with dioceses across the U.S. to operate cemeteries deeply rooted in Catholic values.
