JOB DESCRIPTION:

Duties & Responsibilities
This role will coordinate solutioning/implementations of healthcare products between UMB Bank and Partners/Employers. This includes serving as the main point of contact during the project life cycle, manage project documentation maintenance, coordinating efforts with other UMB departments and associates, and transitioning the Partner/Employer to a Client Experience manager for post implementation activities. Develop strategy for implementation with key tasks, resources, and milestones, ensuring milestones are being met or reporting possible delays to management and partners. Provides leadership and oversight of the Healthcare Services implementation team and represents UMB at Partner/Employer core implementation meetings. Develops complex project plans for new Partner. Coordinates the functional requirements with the HCS Partner and designs the technical solutions with them. Drives the execution of a formal project methodology for forms, workflow, prioritization, reporting and execution. Works with the Healthcare Partners to develop system requirements for healthcare products on their designated processing systems. Produces estimates of effort required to accomplish healthcare projects, provide project support, reviews status of assigned tasks to ensure projects are on schedule and completed on time. Recommends solutions for project related issues that have an impact on the partners/employers, the Bank, or other related projects.
Works with UMB MIS programming staff to build interfaces with various UMB systems including DCF, BCA, HSA, ELB, Hogan, Investment platform and other systems as needed. Additionally, works with UMB MIS programming staff to build interfaces using APIs, SSO, & file formats. Defines project requirements, deliverables, and timelines for managing resources to achieve desired objectives. Manage and enforce project priorities. Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the appropriate team members. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge & Skills
MINIMUM:
  • Strong knowledge of financial services industry. Must be able to solve complex problems as it pertains to systems.
  • Experience leading technology teams & developing staff to perform at a high level.
  • Understands application, database, API, SSO concepts.
  • Thorough understanding of best practice business requirements & testing methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of the Project Management Life Cycle & ability to apply project management methodology to healthcare projects.
  • Demonstrate ability to deal with and meet tight timelines and limited resources.
  • Clear verbal, written, interpersonal & presentation communication skills, expressing complex technical concepts in business terms.
  • Work effectively on cross-functional project teams to solve problems & implement changes.
PREFERRED:
  • Strong knowledge of card industry, including demonstrated knowledge of processing systems. Must be able to solve complex problems as it pertains to related systems.
  • Demonstrates strategic viewpoint, with a clear understanding of the goals & objectives.
  • Identify, develop & initiate innovations & solutions where precedents may not exist.
  • Experience with Bank Deposit systems (prefer Hogan specific background).
  • Understanding and experience with brokerage, 401k, or shareholder record keeping systems.
Requirements
MINIMUM:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Ten (10) years management/ leadership experience
  • Ten (10) years experience in Financial Services.
PREFERRED:
  • Experience with Card processing systems.
  • Change Management experience
  • Project Management experience

Compensation Range:
Minimum: $124,690.00 - Maximum: $321,830.00
