Position Details Direct Support Professional – Pay: $17/hr Shifts Part‑time – Midday shift (10 a.m. – 6 p.m., 11 a.m. – 2 p.m., 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.) Full‑time – Evenings & Days/Evenings combined We look for dedicated professionals who love helping others. Responsibilities Assist with daily living skills and life activities, creating a learning environment. Help clients set and achieve goals that enhance independence. Monitor comfort and safety, ensuring medical, nutritional, and personal care needs are met. Provide emotional support while helping with housekeeping, meal preparation, and laundry duties. Qualifications Passion for helping others. Effective, clear communicator—written and verbal. Highly reliable with strong time‑management skills. Commitment to service; “that’s not my job” mindset absent. Comfort with inclusive environments. Minimum: 18 years old, valid U.S. driver's license (where applicable), high school diploma or equivalent. Physical & Practical Requirements Frequent physical activity: extended standing, walking, bending, climbing, stooping, crouching, squatting. Reaching tasks between knee and shoulder level and below knee level, overhead. Occasional independent lifting up to 25 lbs; frequent push/pull up to 40 lbs of force; transfer of 50 lbs.
