Creed Medical is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals (DSP). In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting them with daily activities and promoting their independence. You will be responsible for implementing personalized care plans, facilitating community integration, and providing emotional support to enhance the quality of life for those in your care.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with personal care, meal preparation, and daily living activities.
• Encourage participation in social and community events to foster social skills and independence.
• Document individuals' progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the care team.
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with families, healthcare providers, and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in direct support or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain upon hire.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and commitment to providing quality care.
