Creed Medical is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals for the role of Direct Support Professional (DSP). In this position, you will provide essential support and care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Your role will involve assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and empowering individuals to participate actively in their communities. As a DSP, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for those you support, by fostering a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as hygiene, dressing, and feeding.
• Support clients in developing life skills and achieving personal goals.
• Facilitate community integration through social and recreational activities.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and incidents.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of clients at all times.
• Collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams to provide coordinated care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or ability to obtain after hire.
