Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, cooking, and cleaning.
• Encourage social interaction and community involvement through planned outings and activities.
• Assist in implementing personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each individual.
• Document and report on the progress and challenges faced by clients regularly.
• Ensure a safe and welcoming environment, promoting the health and well-being of clients.
• Collaborate with families and team members to advocate for clients' needs and preferences.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant experience in caregiving or social services is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to care.
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community activities.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred or must be obtained upon hire.
