We are presently hiring for caring Direct Support Professionals (DSP)/Caregivers who will assist and support these vulnerable individuals either at their own home or at one of our residential homes across the Valley. We have several locations you can choose from. To meet your personal schedule, we have several shifts available (Morning, Afternoon or Graveyard) in our 24/7 residential homes or even flexible schedule based on you and your participant’s program. You can also choose to work Full Time, Part-Time or as needed (PRN) to accommodate your needs and maintain your work life balance. Why Join Us? Our Direct Support Professionals/Caregivers are vital to our success. You are the face of the company because you interact directly with the people we serve. Through your clear communication, you will help our participants in their daily living, hygiene skills, behavioral intervention and social activities out in the community. The focus is to maintain a clean, safe, stimulating living environment, provide transportation (as needed) and facilitate them becoming active members of their communities. Specifically, you will… Assist individuals in areas of personal care, home management, meal planning, shopping, and health maintenance. Provide Positive Behavioral Support in employment and community involvement. Interact with parents, case managers and the public in a positive, professional manner. Transport participants at various community locations. Requirements How do you qualify? At least 18 years of age. High school diploma or equivalent required. Six months or more working with this population required. Must have personal vehicle, valid driver's license, and proof of insurance to transport individuals as needed. Must be compassionate, patient, responsible and respectful. CPR (training available upon hire and offered by the company). #J-18808-Ljbffr
