Director, Operations & Trauma Apply
Job Description: Responsible for the management, coordination, monitoring, promotion and evaluation of all systems, processes and activities related to the hospital operations and Trauma Center at Corning Hospital and the assigned services to include, but not limited to the Switchboard Department, Case Management, Medical Staff Services, and Wound Care. Assures quality trauma care by maintaining full compliance to all Standards for Trauma Center Verification as set forth by the American College of Surgeon’s Committee on Trauma (ACS-COT). The Director, Trauma and Operations also partners with the hospital leadership teams in the development of policies and oversight of the program within their purview.Requirements: Master’s degree in nursing or healthcare administration. Two years of experience in hospital operations and administration that includes demonstrated knowledge in the areas of trauma, critical care, and emergency services. Experience must include demonstrated success with managing people including conducting performance reviews, staffing and scheduling, hiring, and team building and knowledge of hospital throughput and discharge planning, regulatory requirements, and experience with quality outcome projects. Must have 1 year of experience with managing vendor and staffing contracts and contracted services for wound care. Experience gained while earning a graduate degree is acceptable.The pay range for this position is $52.19-$81.46 per hour.
