Role Description

Reporting to the Chief Product Officer for the organization, the Director, Product Management for the assigned Product Group will be responsible for the revenue, profitability as well as product portfolio management, resource allocation and roadmap definition within the Product Group global markets. This individual will run the Product Group P&L as a “mini” general manager.

Main Responsibilities

  • Re-balance the assigned Product Group portfolio toward less customized for the specific OEM and focus on technologically differentiated and higher growth markets aligned with the company strategy.
  • Understand macroeconomic, market trends, competition, and disruptor technologies which will impact the business growth.
  • Build out product roadmaps to align with strategy, key markets and create differentiation in the target applications.
  • Translate Product Group strategy and roadmaps into tactical plans and drive execution to achieve business objectives including revenue, profit and secured future pipeline.
  • Drive the Product Management team to develop strong relationships with key accounts and align with other product groups to create cross selling synergies.
  • Assist in the optimization of the manufacturing footprint for the assigned Product Group.
  • Identify gaps in the organization structure and core competencies and build up plans to bridge the gaps.
  • Embrace growth mindset to mentor, lead, guide and direct talent of the global team Product Management team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 10 years’ experience combining several experiences in Engineering, Product Management, Business Development and at least 5 years as a Team Leader
  • Proven commercial and leadership track record to drive global growth, including sales, marketing and technical teams
  • Experience leading global cross functional teams in a functional organization; demonstrated success in creating a global strategy and driving implementation
  • Clear, strategic thinker with vision and the ability to execute on priorities
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to build credible relationships with multiple functions

Nice to Have

  • Preference for advanced degree (MS, MBA)

Education

  • Minimum of 4 year technical or business degree required.
