The Director of Product Marketing owns segment messaging, positioning, and go-to-market execution—partnering across product, engineering, marketing, channels, and global sales to fuel growth in a competitive, fast-moving market. This role delivers actionable market intelligence, sharp value propositions, sales enablement, and launch excellence—balancing strategic direction, operational precision, and the ability to roll up the sleeves and to get work done. The Issuance Product Marketing Director drives Entrust’s growth in the global card and ID issuance ecosystem. You will define differentiated, customer-centric value propositions across key issuance workflows—from central issuance (CI) to instant financial issuance (IFI) to instant ID issuance (IIDI), and Digital Card Service (DCS) scenarios. As the Issuance storyteller and subject-matter authority, you will synthesize market trends, competitive signals, and customer requirements into clear narratives that guide GTM strategy and influence product roadmaps. Success requires deep familiarity with issuance platforms, credential lifecycle workflows, and secure identity technologies. Responsibilities Strategic Direction & Solution Leadership: - Build and execute quarterly and annual GTM strategic plans aligned to segment priorities and pipeline goals. - Develop sharp, differentiated messaging mapped to buyer personas, issuance workflows, and industry use cases. - Drive continuous VOC and market intelligence across issuers, government, financial services, and enterprise ID ecosystems. - Track competitive CI/DI platforms, printer technologies, personalization software, and credentialing trends; operationalize insights for sales and product teams. Execution & GTM Delivery - Produce high-value collateral and thought leadership: datasheets, solution briefs, white papers, playbooks, and competitive battle cards. - Partner with growth, field, and channel marketing to accelerate demand generation and deal velocity; own KPIs tied to segment pipeline and win rates. - Build executive-ready strategic plans for SLT and Board audiences; convert strategy into clear deliverables with timelines and owners. Team Leadership - Lead and mentor a seasoned product marketing team, ensuring alignment, clarity, and consistent GTM execution. - Strengthen cross-functional collaboration across product, sales, marketing, and channel organizations. Basic Qualifications - 5+ years of product marketing experience, ideally in ID or card issuance, card personalization, secure credentialing, or adjacent security technologies. - Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field. - Proven leadership and people-management experience. - Exceptional communication and storytelling skills. - Strong understanding of channel ecosystems and partner-driven GTM motions. - Ability to travel up to 20%, including internationally. Preferred Qualifications - Master’s degree in marketing, business, or related field. - Experience with digital marketing analytics, competitive intelligence platforms, and data-driven GTM optimization. - Established relationships across the ID & Card Issuance ecosystem, including hardware/software vendors, integrators, issuers, and industry associations. At Entrust, we don’t just offer jobs – we offer career journeys.
